Fundación Ared x Carolina Herrera

MAKERS PROGRAM PROJECT FUNDACIÓN ARED COLLABORATES WITH CAROLINA HERRERA ON A CHARITY PROJECT.

Thanks to Invisible Beauty’s Makers program, Carolina Herrera is collaborating with Fundación Ared to help strengthen the social impact of its female empowerment project.

The Fundación Ared works to reintegrate women who have either been in penitentiary centers or social service housing back into society and the labor market. Ared accompanies and trains these women, with a particular focus on those over 45. By empowering and encouraging them to be independent they are then better equipped to re-enter the workplace and become active members of society again.

Fundación Ared is one of the projects chosen for the VII edition of Puig’s Invisible Beauty Makers program that this year selected projects that would collaborate directly with the Puig brands. The program identifies common interests and explores opportunities via direct collaboration with the brands. Carolina Herrera, in celebration of International Women’s Day and as part of its ongoing mission to empower women announced that it would be collaborating with the foundation.

The brand presented its first collection called NFT: Nightclubbing that showed the work of the five female artists that founded INFEMS (Intersectional Feminist Art Collective). The digital works of art are only sold across the digital NFT Open Sea platform that aims to be a powerful international network that supports the creative growth of women and girls from different backgrounds. The five artists are Adelaide Damoah, Roxana Halls, Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf, Marie-Anne Mancio and Wendy Elia. All of the money raised will go to the Fundación Ared helping them to strengthen their impact on society and help more women at risk of social exclusion to recover their dignity.
